“Editing is all about collaboration.”

                                                      David Fincher

Like many filmmakers, my passion in editing started when I was growing up. Being fourteen and making music videos with school friends, I found great excitement in trying out all the different ways of piecing footage together. For me, the quote above sums up this experience and why I decided to be an editor.

Even after many projects, I still look forward to working with a director to craft a story; whether it’s analysing an actor’s performance, embracing a new style or experimenting with music.

When I commit to editing a project, I do so fully.  My passion for the films I cut allows me to put in the hours, spending the time required to help create the best story possible.

As an assistant editor, I’ve been fortunate enough to work on feature films under Oscar-winning editors such as Dylan Tichenor and Claire Simpson. From the ways they initially approach a scene to their use of music, I've learnt a lot from working under them. Working on projects of this scale has also been invaluable to my understanding of the technical requirements and time pressures on productions for Marvel, Netflix and HBO.

My recent projects include editing the short films ‘Three White Cigarettes’ and 'Five Eighths' and working on the Alfonso Cuarón series ‘Disclaimer’ as an assistant editor.
